About

The Short Story

I developed a love of photography in the 1960s when I was fortunate enough to serve as yearbook photographer in high school.  I spent my days relentlessly stalking classmates and teachers with a faithful old Yaschica Mat twin lens reflex camera.

Since then I’ve been very busy…… a beautiful wife, three great kids, a military career, a computer business and finally retirement. That’s when I found time to rekindle a passion for photography. These days I focus mostly on waterbirds in south Florida.

Photography is my hobby, not my profession and that old Yaschica Mat is in the dustbin of history.
